Day by Day Program

All Of Us. Together

Responsibility and Reflection

The Day by Day program is an outpatient treatment program for men and women ages 18 and older, who have a history of substance abuse issues. Individuals who enter our program must be willing to make the necessary changes to become productive members of the community.

Historically, many of our Day by Day clients have spent time on the streets, were in gangs or served time in prison. Others had families and stable jobs. Regardless of their circumstances, their addiction to drugs and alcohol has affected their health, and results in homelessness or on the brink of being homeless.

Our program is built around the philosophy of responsibility and reflection. Our environment provides a safe place to build self-esteem, make positive changes, and learn tools to live a sober life. We offer an array of therapeutic services to Day by Day clients. For men, treatment follows a series of stages in an outpatient setting, with (housing available). The women’s program uses a unique program to meet their special needs, including a trauma group that promotes a strength-based approach where awareness of trauma as a trigger helps them to develop coping mechanisms. Clients are encouraged to follow a structured treatment program and participate in Relapse Prevention Group as well as outside meetings in the community. The Day by Day program provides clients with the opportunity, to make appropriate changes in their lives.
