House of Charity depends
upon the generosity of individuals who believe in our mission, but
donations are not always in the form of dollar bills. On the contrary,
there are basic items of which House of Charity is always in need.
Because our clients often arrive with very little, they are often
lacking in necessities. Your donation of the following items is
sincerely appreciated.
Items We Accept:
- Personal care items
(soaps, razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, deodorant, toothbrushes,
combs and bruches)
- Bedding (sheets,
pillow cases)
- Packages of
socks and underwear - male and female
- Bath towels and
washcloth
- Alcoholics Anonymous Big
Book; household furniture
Items We Cannot Accept:
- Household appliances
- Medical equipment
- Used toys
and children's clothing
- Outdated computer
equipment
- Musical instruments
*If
you provide an address, an in-kind donation
information receipt will be sent for your records. Thank you for
thinking of House of Charity.
